Thoughts on the first *Emigrant daughter born in the United States at Aldebaran Arabians:
“For the Aldebaran program, the allure of integrating *Emigrant lay chiefly ascribed to his unparalleled desert Arabian type. His daughters are distinctively feminine; long-necked and light on their feet with an elegant build outlining the finest desert qualities; never heavy-set nor thick-necked. Unlike many Polish-bred Stallions today, *Emigrant has consistently demonstrated his patrician ability to sustain hallmark refinement in the foals he sires; an opportunity for true consistency that was seldom before available to contemporary American-style dams, such as Aldebaran Arabian’s Multi-champion Copper Monet (Double U.S. National Top Ten, Scottsdale Reserve Champion – 4 yr class, Breeders World Cup Top Five and Canadian National Champion). We applied our belief in this conceptual cross and were rewarded with an extraordinarily lovely chestnut filly: Emelea Aldebaran. A real eye-catcher who charms everyone at liberty, this is a superstar filly bestowed with definitive lines of classic elegance and supreme beauty; large dark eyes, a swan-like neck and the airy movement of her sire.
Emelea Aldebaran stands at the forefront of contemporary progression in our program and we hope for this promising young star to follow in the championing trail of her dam (re-bred to *Emigrant for 2011).”
