DESCRIPTION
Salomeja is a typey and athletically-gifted Arabian mare, tracing to past and modern-day Arabian nobility in every line of her distinguished pedigree, exhibiting a splendid combination of world-renowned Straight Egyptian and Polish blood lines. Saloméja’s dam, Sariene is daughter of European and Polish National Champion, *EMIGRANT. Imported to the U.S. in 2008, Emigrant’s international-champion get include the lovely Pustynna Róża (out of Aldebaran’s broodmatron: *Pustynna Tarcza) marked amongst the ten elite broodmares of the Polish State Stud, Michaløw. Saloméja’s granddam *Sari (grey, 1987) led an accomplished track career (14 money earning places from 19 starts), stemming from the extremely successful Sarabanda racing family, a dynasty established by prized foundation broodmare SABDA, in which six consecutive generations have won the Derby and Oaks.
